The pristine montane forests of Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary, nestled in western Arunachal Pradesh, are often regarded as the finest birding destination in Asia. Perched in the Eastern Himalayas and forming part of the globally significant Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot, Eaglenest is a treasure trove of rare, endemic, and spectacular birdlife. With elevations ranging from tropical foothills to temperate rhododendron forests, it offers one of the richest birding experiences on the planet.
This 6-day, 5-night BIRDING TOUR explores the key birding zones of Eaglenest — from the lush lowlands of Sessni and Khellong to the mist-laden ridges of Bompu and Lama Camp. The sharp change in altitude brings an extraordinary diversity of species, including many Himalayan and Eastern Himalayan endemics. Every bend in the road and every forested slope here hides a potential lifer.
