Tour Overview

The mist-laden ridges, mossy oak–rhododendron forests, and bamboo thickets of Singalila National Park form one of the most enchanting landscapes in the Eastern Himalayas. Stretching along the Indo–Nepal border in northern West Bengal, this high-altitude park offers breathtaking views of the world’s tallest peaks — including Kanchenjunga — and is home to an extraordinary diversity of Himalayan birds and mammals, most notably the elusive Red Panda.

This 5-day, 4-night RED PANDA & BIRDING TOUR is crafted to explore the finest habitats of Singalila — from the vibrant rhododendron trails of Manebhanjan and Tumling to the pristine forests around Gairibas and Sandakphu. The itinerary offers a perfect balance of wildlife tracking and bird photography, making it ideal for birders and photographers seeking a Himalayan adventure filled with rare sightings and stunning landscapes.

Wildlife experiences include guided walks and jeep safaris through different altitudinal zones, offering chances to spot the charismatic Red Panda amid the moss-covered bamboo and to photograph high-altitude specialties against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks. The region’s blend of scenic grandeur, crisp mountain air, and rich biodiversity makes Singalila one of the most memorable birding and wildlife destinations in the Eastern Himalayas.
